Описание A plane strain tensor is introduced for the driving wave process of martensitic crystal growth. A case in which the wave vectors of the driving waves belong to the {110}c planes of the initial cubic phase is analyzed. It is demonstrated that for the quasi-longitudinal waves the relationship between the strain and the wave velocity cannot be reduced to their direct proportionality. This analysis is important for a precision description of the morphological parameters within the limits of dynamic theory. © 2014, Springer Science+Business Media New York.
Concerning the prospects for the nearest investigations, we emphasize that the introduction of the strain tensor transferred with the DWP allows us to formulate the problem of inheritance of the elastic strain tensor of any arbitrary DNC in the region of IES localization by the driving wave process.
