Описание The present study primarily focuses on lamination in beta-phase of Ti-5553 titanium alloy. Microstructure and chemical composition of Ti-5553 alloy after heat-treatment was investigated by electron microscopy (SEM, TEM), x-ray diffraction (XRD) and energy dispersive x-ray analysis (EDX). It was revealed that after annealing and slow cooling from β phase field the β phase separated into β-enriched and β-lean regions. This effect does not effect on precipitation of secondary α phase. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
